What The Tide Is
The Tide is a swim spa combining a continuous-flow swimming system with a pressurised massage jet section. The current is generated by dedicated flow nozzles that produce a constant, laminar water stream — allowing uninterrupted swimming without turning.
This swim spa is built on a 4.75mm Aristech® reinforced acrylic shell — thicker than the 3.2mm used in standard spa units, and structurally necessary at this scale given the load of up to 10,800 litres of water. The shell is supported by a full stainless steel chassis for torsional rigidity.
Available in four configurations. All models are 2.4m wide and 1.5m deep. The 1.5m depth is the defining feature — it supports a full swimming stroke, which most comparable models at 1.2m depth cannot.
The filled operating weight of the largest configuration (5.95m) is approximately 12,840 kg including water. This is a civil engineering installation, not a garden appliance. A reinforced concrete foundation of at least 15cm is the standard requirement.
The control system is Balboa (USA) — the global industry standard for swim spa control electronics. It manages water temperature, pump operation, lighting and sanitation cycles.
OxiusPro coordinates configuration, delivery and installation through local partners. Site assessment before order is a required step — not optional.
River Nozzle
Current Technology
The continuous current is generated by large river nozzles integrated into the swim end wall. These produce a constant, laminar flow stream strong enough for uninterrupted swimming. This is the defining technical feature of The Tide.

A dedicated water supply and appropriately sized drainage are required. A full water change on the 5.95m model involves removing 10,800 litres.

In principle, yes — but the filled operating weight of the largest model is approximately 12,840 kg. A structural engineer's written confirmation of bearing capacity is required.

Why do you recommend 32A instead of 15A?
With up to 5 pumps of 3HP each, 15A is insufficient for full simultaneous operation. A 32A / 3-phase dedicated circuit ensures stable performance.

The 4m models suit limited spaces or buyers prioritising the massage section. The 5m and 5.95m models provide more useful swimming distance. The right configuration is confirmed during the order process.
