Definition

The Hearth
Defined

The Hearth is a modular outdoor kitchen designed as a permanent architectural installation for private residences, hospitality settings and estate environments. It is constructed in uncoated brushed stainless steel and configured from independent modules combined according to site layout and intended use.

The standard reference configuration comprises five modules at a total length of 4,854 mm. Custom configurations are available within project scope.

A modular outdoor kitchen defined by uncoated stainless steel construction, permanent utility planning and project-specific configuration.

This is a permanent outdoor installation. Gas supply, and where applicable water supply and drainage, are planned in advance and confirmed in writing before manufacture begins.

For coastal installations — typically within approximately 5 km of the sea — 316 stainless steel is specified in place of 304 for increased resistance to chloride exposure.

Construction

Stainless Steel
Construction

The Hearth is constructed entirely in stainless steel. The brushed finish is uncoated by design. At sustained cooking temperatures, painted and powder-coated surfaces degrade over time. Uncoated stainless steel avoids that failure mode entirely.

  • 304 stainless steel as standard
  • 316 stainless steel specified for coastal exposure
  • Uncoated brushed finish across all visible surfaces
  • Seamless stainless steel worktop
  • Concealed castors for installation positioning

Gas Grill System
and Safety Control

The primary grill section uses an 8-zone gas burner configuration with solid stainless steel burners, electronic ignition and individual burner control. A double-walled hood improves temperature distribution across the cooking surface. A Flame Safety Device is integrated into every primary burner — cutting gas supply at that burner if the flame is extinguished unintentionally.

Primary Gas Burner System

  • Main burners: 8-zone gas configuration
  • Flame Safety Device: integrated on every burner
  • Electronic ignition: per burner
  • Hood: double-walled stainless steel with convection effect
  • Thermometer: hood-mounted precision gauge

Auxiliary Heat Systems

  • Infrared rear burner: for rotisserie operation
  • Side burner: high-output, separate heat zone
  • Rotisserie: integrated spit system included

Material Specification

304 or 316
Stainless Steel

304 Stainless Steel

304 is specified as the standard material for inland locations and sheltered outdoor environments. It performs reliably under repeated high-temperature cooking cycles and remains easy to maintain.

316 Stainless Steel

316 is specified where chloride exposure or coastal air requires a higher-grade alloy. Both grades are structurally comparable, but 316 provides improved corrosion resistance in exposed marine environments.

Installation

Site Requirements

Surface and Foundation

The Hearth requires a level, load-bearing surface. A concrete pad, stone terrace or reinforced deck is appropriate. Exact weight depends on module configuration and is confirmed during specification.

Gas Supply

A permanent gas supply is required — mains gas or large-format LPG. Connection must be completed by a licensed gas engineer.

Water and Drainage

If a sink module is included, a water supply connection and drainage route are required. These are defined in advance as part of the project scope.

Electrical

Refrigeration and lighting modules require a standard power connection. A weatherproof outdoor power outlet is sufficient where these modules are specified.

Questions

Before You Proceed

  • Why is the finish uncoated rather than powder-coated?

Powder-coated and painted surfaces degrade under repeated high-temperature cooking cycles. Uncoated brushed stainless steel has no surface coating to blister, chip or peel.

  • What does the Flame Safety Device do?

It cuts gas supply at a burner if the flame is extinguished unintentionally. This is an integrated burner-level safety mechanism.

  • Do I need 304 or 316 stainless steel?

316 is specified for coastal installations and chloride exposure. 304 is correct for inland locations and sheltered outdoor environments.

  • Can The Hearth remain outdoors year-round?

Yes. It is specified for permanent outdoor installation. Stainless steel surfaces should be cleaned and maintained according to care guidance, particularly in exposed environments.

  • Is this a permanent installation?

Yes. The Hearth requires planned gas supply, and where applicable water and drainage routing. The concealed castors are for installation positioning only.

  • How many modules can be configured?

The standard reference configuration is five modules at 4,854 mm total length. Smaller configurations are available within project scope.

  • What warranty applies?

A 12-month manufacturer warranty applies to structure and hardware. After the warranty period, servicing, maintenance and replacement parts are arranged at the owner's cost.

  • Are listed prices fully inclusive?

Prices apply to base configurations. Delivery, duties, customs clearance, gas connection and professional installation are confirmed separately per destination and project scope.
